1999 Cadillac DeVille Owner’s Manual

February 26th, 2010 No Comments   Posted in Cadillac

DeVille (also De Ville and de Ville) was originally a trim level and later a model of General Motors’ Cadillac marque. The first car to bear the name was the 1949 Coupe de Ville, a prestige trim level of the Series 62 luxury coupe. The last model to be formally known as a DeVille was the 2005 Cadillac DeVille, a full-size sedan, the largest car in the Cadillac model range at the time. The next year, the DeVille was officially renamed DTS (an acronym standing for DeVille Touring Sedan, itself a trim level on earlier models).

2000 Buick Regal Owner’s Manual

October 19th, 2009 No Comments   Posted in GMC

Buick introduced its sixth-generation Regal on the World Wide Web—which indicates this car’s target market: men and women in their forties who, according to Buick, are much younger than the typical Buick buyer. Introduced in spring of 1997, this totally redesigned Regal—available only as a 4-door sedan—replaces the variant of the GM-10 platform introduced in 1988. Its maker refers to the Regal as a sport sedan, a point emphasized by its simple lines, lack of chrome trim, and non-availability of a bench seat. The 2000 Buick Regal OM contains the information about Defensive Driving, Drunken Driving, Control of a Vehicle, Braking, Steering, Driving Tips for Various Road Conditions, Recreational Vehicle Towing, Loading Your Vehicle, Towing a Trailer, Heating and Air Conditioning, Setting the Radio Clock, Radio/Cassette Player/CD Player, Radio Theft-Deterrent Feature, Steering Wheel Controls (If Equipped), Hazard Warning Flashers, Jump Starting, Towing Your Vehicle, Engine Overheating, and Changing a Flat Tire.

2000 Buick Century Owner’s Manual

October 16th, 2009 No Comments   Posted in Buick

The Century model name has a long history at Buick. It first appeared in the late 1930s to emphasize the car’s advertised top speed of 100 mph, an unusual feat for cars of that time. In 1997 the Century received a ground-up redesign to replace a model that first appeared in 1982. Buick describes its products as “premium American motorcars,” and the new Century’s design reflects the character of its Buick siblings. Buick sees its customers as people looking for cars that are modern and American in character, yet readily identifiable as Buicks.
